JoeTree day

It's been a lovely day to remember Joe Tree who started Blipfoto.  What a wonderful idea and he's responsible for so much pleasure with in person and virtual friendships.  Thank you to all those wonderful people that keep the site going, their work is much appreciated.

My tree photo is of the hawthorn in my garden where I've been working this afternoon. It's in tight bud but no leaves out yet.

1st March, St. Davids Day and the first day of spring.  After a grey, cold and wet winter, it's good to have optimism that warmer and sunnier weather is on the way.
