Bright spot

Had a nice lie in.

Not going to lie it has been a tough week and I'm not feeling overly optimistic at things.

I had a nice surprise in the morning though when I received a wedding invite from my young padawan. It did make me cry. I'd be honoured to be there on her big day. I did the RSVP straight away and let her know that she'd made me a blubbering wreck.

Went down to the Devils in the evening. We raised the banner on our recent Continental Cup win, which was great. We were playing the Fife Flyers and they're in a bad state of affairs at the moment, so the game was not that competitive. We were 4-0 up at the end of the second period and I decided to head home.

Saw Wigan play Warrington Wolves in Las Vegas and Wigan were absolutely sensational.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  Receiving a wedding invite for my young padawan
2.  A good sporting day
