Alex’s daffs
Not much sun today so it has felt very cold but at least it has been dry.
We walked up the village to our son’s house to take a look at his new bathroom, he’s been going to get it done for several years now and last week finally got on with it. He’s had the bath taken out and now has a very stylish walk in shower and unit fitted basin and toilet. Very nice.
Whilst there Chris cut back his rose ( he also went early to church this morning to do the same there.) He only has a small front yard so the wall is the only place to grow anything. Some years ago, when he first moved in, we planted some Tete a Tete daffodils in the walls and they have come up every year since. (You can spot the odd snowdrop there too)
I think they look lovely and are open before ours. When we walked past a week ago they weren’t open so the sun we’ve had this week has done its job well.
The forecast is for a fine week and getting milder, sounds goid to me.
