Across the river
For today’s walk I’ve crossed the bridge and I’m walking away from the city on the north bank of the Avon towards the horrible retail park - because there is the Range, which now sells Wilko bird food (don’t ask me why). I needed a big bag of sunflower seeds- the most popular thing with my birds. Across here is Paintworks - a mixture of housing, small scale work places, and - for blippers - two important institutions and exhibition spaces - the Royal Photographic Society and the Martin Parr Foundation. I walked back up the hill again through the cemetery and was happy to find some primroses out. See extra.
