Wildlife area

Exploring new places to walk, for a bit of variety.  This little wildlife spot is near Tesco, so I walked before shopping.  A really ugly litter strewn walkway to get to the gate. Inside it seems a bit scrubby and sad. But I know there are badgers and deer somewhere around there - they’ve been caught on night cameras in the allotments - which are right next to this area. The teazles were easily the most beautiful and interesting things I saw. I’ll go back soon and try to follow up what else grows there.  There is a little pond which looks more likely to grow supermarket trolleys than dragonflies, but you never know. 
Poor Ukraine, invaded by one, robbed and bullied by the other… all semblance of international law and United Nations in the bin. Who’s next?  I’m so glad my father isn’t here to see this, he believed so strongly in being fair and kind, and he spent 6 years of his life fighting for democracy
