Joe Tree Day
So this is 1st March, the day when we celebrate the founder of this wonderful blipfoto community, Joe Tree (thank you Joe, you've brought so much fun and pleasure to so many of us, not to mention finding us new friends all over the world). By chance we had a camera club outing to Wallington, a National Trust site in Northumberland - so I had rather a lot of trees to choose from. I liked this one in mono, especially as it includes its reflection for our blip friends "Down Under", Lol! ;-))
Of course I took some other photos too, the first documenting a face-to-face encounter with a rather scary rook at the bird hide (first extra). And at this time of year I just had to include a photo (2nd extra) from the gorgeous crocus lawn which is looking its best at the moment. I last blipped from there a couple of years ago, here.
