Lunch by the sea - again!
After some early drizzle it turned into a fine day, with sunshine until mid-afternoon. We drove down to the pier for fish, as usual, but our Saturday morning visits to the library have come to an end, as our library is to be open only on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from now on. I don't like the sound of this.
We drove up to Pulpit Hill before coming home, where I took my Blip today. The Lismore ferry, Loch Striven, is making her way past Maiden Isle en route to her destination. Then we drove the other way and along the coast road to Ganavan, Oban’s beach, where I had a walk along the sand along with a large number of dog walkers!
We'd planned to go along to Poppies for lunch today, taking our elderly neighbour with us. Calling him elderly's a bit of a nerve, actually, as he's probably only eight years or so older than I am! The café was very busy, so we had to put up with a table at the back of the room, our view of the sea being therefore somewhat limited!
Back home I donned the working clothes and did some clearing and cleaning of tubs and troughs, ready to think about spring bedding, having been reminded by the new display of flowering plants at Poppies.
