Friendship knot

During the morning, W went to help at the gardening club, whereas I did some weeding in our own garden.  Joe was also here, though alone, and not for long as he was off to a wedding later, so didn't make a great deal of progress.  Next week looks promising in terms of the weather - hoping he'll get the job finished.

In the afternoon I spent time in the sewing room - this block is called Friendship Knot.  Challenging, with curved seams, kinked seams (one of which needed to be redone several times) and Y seams.
