Daffs
My brother, Wol, had meetings all morning but said he was going to walk up to Caffè Nero in the afternoon, if I fancied joining him, which I did.
On the way up there, we passed this little clump of daffodils, a promise of spring.
And in the evening, Mum and I went down to the Japanese restaurant at the end of her road, which she said she's always fancied but never tried.
It turned out to be excellent. From my seat I had a view into the kitchen and I could see everything being prepared from scratch.
