Flower Friday

Took a local walk this morning over Bucklers Park.  A recent development (few years) on the Transport Road Research Laboratories (TRRL) site, they have left lots of forestry bits as well as the road track they used for testing.  A lovely open green space with a great park for the children, conservation area for the wildlife/animals and a couple of walks of varying lengths.  I know my photo is gorse but still a pretty flower.   (See extra for scenery)

Lunch in the local pub - prawn cocktail on wholemeal bloomer - yummy.

Today celebrates two members of my family’s birthday - our son and my brother.  Also my best friend’s daughter (born 2 hours before our son).  Hope they all had a Happy Birthday.
