Could this be Spring?
A glorious spring day, but NO, it's not Spring yet... Archie and I sat out in the front garden for the first time. I put a temporary fence across the missing gate, so Archie could sniff around his domain - first time for ages.
I took Archie out around the block, and Elizabeth took him out for a longer walk later. We then had a bit of a panic when we mis-judged getting nibbles ready for visitors - it was rather stressful, but we got ready in time (even though JR had to rush to shop to buy more Boursin cheese) to welcome neighbours. JR knows U from the gym classes, but her husband, M, came along too. We had a very nice afternoon discussing all sorts. Our two visitors are enthusiastic campers, and have a wonderful camper van I admire every time I pass it. They had graduated from a pup tent for years, then a bigger tent for years and now to a proper van. Very like our pals in Jersey.
Today we organised someone to come and look after Archie in the summer when we go on our Norway cruise! Yay! Another Aussie who is over in Europe for the summer. We've just had a chat to her via WhatsApp, and she asked if we had airconditioning! We told her not to worry about getting too hot!
We have a stressful day tomorrow. We're changing over our tv and broadband, and so have to set up the new set up. A BIG box arrived FULL of wires, sockets, two media boxes, switches, a router, more wires, plugs, a wee spanner, and two books of instructions to change over the service.
Wish me luck.
