Beauty…

… and a beast!
The beast being a box that contained my garden blankets , throws and cushions. Most of them handmade, some very precious.
The box had developed a crack that I hadn’t noticed and was full of rain water!
I’ve washed everything in the hope it can be salvaged.
On a happier note.. a beautiful sunny spring day so the garden was wee I spent the day.
My bird song app listed 17 birds!
There was non stop bird song all day, with our pair of blackcaps, goldfinches and long tailed tits being my favourite .
Tonight my body is saying “ ouch” very loudly.
