Bar-tailed godwits

After getting the washing out we went out for a walk by the river and, not only did I remember the binoculars, I also remembered to put a long lens on the camera.
Not a huge number of different species but quite a lot of these and redshanks with smaller numbers of others.
After lunch I got some gardening done, getting things organised for when the weather gets warmer, and this evening the running group had an outdoor track session. It was rather chilly, but not windy, and we all worked hard.
