Snoozing in the sunshine (Day 3581)

A later start to the day for me because the van was booked in for an MOT, so no work today. I took Sigyn for her first wander of the day, and after breakfast she hustled me through to the sitting room so I could sit on the sofa with her. It is part of her routine and she loves it when either my beautiful wife or I are available to sit on a soft seat with her. She always gets on the sofa and lies down at the opposite end from whichever of us is on the couch and is asleep within seconds. The longer she snoozes, the further she spreads along the couch, until she is shoving the human out of her way.
Around the middle of the day I roused her from her slumbers and took her for another wander in the sunshine, getting home in time for lunch with HV before she zoomed off to check on the horses before catching the ferry south for more foot trimming.
The van passed the MOT with flying colours. I was sure it would, but it is always a relief to get the phone call to collect it.
