Fortified by a (very tasty) full Scottish breakfast we headed south to Suisnish to follow the Ironstone Mine and Burma Road walk.

The mine was only in operation between 1913 & 1918 and during WW1 German POW were put to work there. It was really interesting seeing the remains of old buildings.  And like yesterday the Glamaig standing above Sconser was  ever-present.

Back in Invernish T headed to the hotel while I took a trail past an old broach. We then read and sketched before joining a tour of the distillery followed by a paired whisky/gin and chocolate tasting - my third tasting in as many weeks ! The tour ended with a fire alarm (fortunately a short one).

Extras show view from our room and the Gathering or residents lounge. There is a theme emerging.

Dinner beckons which I'm looking forward to - yesterday's was blasta.
