Another frosty start and for a second day it turned out sunny and warm.

I intended to walk through the park, along the Under Loughrigg Road and then follow the riverside footpath to Waterhead.  When I saw the size of the pond puddle in the park I decided that the path by the river might be muddy and unsuitable for my footwear so shortened my route and stuck to tarmac.

Blip shows the puddle. It’s a good indicator of the amount of rain we’ve had.  The photo might have been better if I’d been able to bend further!
