Celebrating Joe Tree Day. Many thank to Joe for a brilliant idea and to the current team who put so much time into running the site.

The day started misty but it had cleared a lot by 9 o’clock when I went out. I took a bus to White Moss and walked back to Rydal along the north (road) side of Rydal Water before heading up to the Tea Shop for coffee and scone. Then down to the bus stop and back to Ambleside much faster than if I’d walked.
