Pricepiles
Sorting out the stock of games donated to raise funds for charity, and trying to come up with sensible prices. I've settled on keeping it simple, with these piles being £15, £10, and £5 left to right - at least for face-to-face sales at the upcoming games weekends.
Many of these would have cost the donor considerably more. It's not unusual to spend £40 on an average modern boardgame, indeed one i the £15 pile is still in shrink with a £45 price tag on it.
So, in theory I could raise more funds with higher prices but I'd rather raise funds quickly and price-to-sell as they are doing no the charity no good sitting on the floor here.
On the other hand, I could go 'reassuringly expensive' as the ad' has it. Indeed, I have on one game which is rather rare and popular.
