A Mosaic in Mercer Park.

As the weather was nice, Maria and I walked to our appointment at the dentist in Clayton le Moors, which is about a mile and a half from Rishton.
We did not need to have anything done this time, so we were really happy about this and saved a small fortune, even being NHS patients.
We went to Mercer Park on the way home.The park has recently gained Green flag status, and there was evidence of quite a few improvements.
This colourful mosaic representing the four seasons and the compass directions is at the centre of a beautiful landscaped area with wooden seats.
Maria took the close up, showing all the lttle hands in the centre, possibly prayerful hands.
It is a peaceful place to sit and read, with some well selected shrubs and roses in the planted garden.
