Live and let live?

A Golden Orb-Weaver Spider (top photo) took up residence on our balcony a couple of months ago. She (males are much smaller I'm told) is in an out of the way place, these spiders are fairly harmless and so far we've adopted a live and let live policy. She's now laid eggs in the yellow egg sac (bottom photo) nearby. Google tells me there could be almost 400 eggs in the sac. I feel that I don't really need all that many more spiders!
