Back to Sun City West
After a lovely breakfast in Sedona at the Indian kitchen where I actually saw several beautiful hellebores we set off for Jerome. Jerome is an old copper mining town which has burnt down many times. I loved this place called the house of joy. After a lovely Mexican lunch we went to Toozigoot an ancient pueblo. Toozigoot is the Apache word for crooked river. Our last stop was Montezuma’s castle set in the rock built by the Sinagua people between 1100 and 1425. It was used as shelter during the flood seasons.
Tonight we are back at my friends in Sun City West with a quiet day tomorrow.
Thank you for all the comments, stars and hearts on the antelope canyon blip yesterday.
