In the green
A cold but sunny day. In fact, out of the cool wind in a sunny sheltered spot, shorts and short sleeved shirt were fine. But only in a sheltered spot.
Otherwise a day of sorting things out for packing, washing, shopping before going away for a few days. By the time we get back the snowdrops may be past their best. So good to get this photo of the part we don’t usually see as the flower heads drop down.
Snowdrops are normally sold “in the green” meaning the bulb is still actively growing. They establish better that way.
Our dog enjoyed sitting in the sunshine in front of our own display of crocii ( see yesterday).
To round off the day two evening church meetings!
