Abstract Thursday ...

... (Organic) Fallen Feather Found.

The weather was pretty Foul for the better part of the day.  But late in the afternoon it cleared up enough for us to get over to Housenick Memorial park for a quick walk along the Footpath.  

As we were getting back to the parking lot I Found this rain Flecked Feather.  Sadly it was in amongst several Fallen Feathers ... which is never a good sign.  It's most likely from a beautiful Snow Goose ... although I didn't Find any with black tips which would indicate a Snow Goose.

In other news ... I spent some time in the greenhouse (my happy place at the moment) using the rented lens even though it was rather dreary out.  I've put a photo up in my Facebook Feed of a lovely male Northern Cardinal in all his Flaming red!  AND ... we saw our First chipmunk in our own yard this afternoon!  YAY!  Now I know at least one has survived the winter Frigid temps!  No pictures just yet but hopefully within the next Few days!
