Then There Were Two

I was asked today what keeps me at the club as a volunteer, the easy answer is for what it has given my two children.
They have both grown up with a love for the game and the club, their coaches have told them that it’s not always about the result, it’s about being part of the team, part of the club, part of the community and I like to think they have carried those values with them.
With only two remaining of the original ‘Thursday Gang’, age and illness having taken their toll, we don’t get as much done, be we get something done on Thursdays on top of enjoying each others company.
