Exploration

I enjoy exploring new places… almost as much as returning to familiar ones. Perhaps more. I can never decide.

My brief first visit to Utrecht taught me a couple of things. First, the bits I saw are lovely. Second, I should have stayed longer.

Well, I can go back. 

The Moxy gave me a great breakfast, and I discovered I was the oldest guest by at least 20 years. I watched a pseudo-hipster sitting on the outside terrace beside the canal having a coffee and 2 cigarettes for breakfast. The rain did not faze her. Another was playing guitar in the lobby as I went out for my walk around the canals.

Make that 30 years…

Anyway, the Blip is a sculpture I bumped into on a bridge. I like my street art. One Extra is the view the subject is gazing out over. The other Extra is a mural close to the Moxy. The physicist Blippers will know who the professor is. Others can google him if so inclined.
