The Thursday market was in the nearest it gets to full swing when I walked down the High Street to the hairdresser’s this morning for a tidy up.

I browsed, but resisted, the record stall on the way back.

The golf course is still closed so this afternoon we walked up to my golfing partner Phil’s house to drop in his birthday present for tomorrow. We stopped for a chat then headed back to the travel agent’s to collect the plane tickets for our Japan trip.
