For the Bigger Picture

I had to nip to the shops this morning. I called in the charity shops and found 12 Lee Child paperbacks that I haven’t read, so I bought the lot. 3 for £1. I remembered that I had actually gone up the shops for milk, chicken and potatoes. I should have taken another carrier bag.
This afternoon I went to a U3A talk called Mysteries and Conundrums by Andy Smith. It turned out to be a poet reading his work with brief stories in between. He only had one arm and one leg and this featured prominently in his work. He was quite entertaining and there were over 100 people there. I felt quite young as most of them appeared to be at least 20 years older than me. Saw the mural near where I parked.
