The Rose

It was time to say goodbye to the Valentine's Day roses, but I took one last picture before consigning them to the brown bin. They haven't started dropping petals yet, but it won't be long. They've done so well. Very unusual colours that seemed to deepen and get more desaturated as the week went on. I'm waiting in today for two doctor's telephone appointments, but neither of them have managed to find time to talk to me yet. Good job I'm not unwell.
