The end of the day
In the morning, I went into Wexford to the stitching group. My contributions are a bit boring at the moment, as my main concentration is on the sampler blocks, which are machine sewn, so can't be taken to the group. I'm just doing little cross stitch bits and pieces - a robin at the moment.
Afterwards, several of us went to Greenacres, where we had coffee, and I had a sandwich. And I was tempted by a piece of cheese from their cheese counter. After coffee, I was walking back towards the car with one of the ladies, and she introduced me to a little cafe/deli where they sell lovely Scotch eggs - bit pricey, but very tasty.
Then supermarket shopping, followed by the pharmacy in Adamstown to pick up prescription meds.
W meanwhile, having slept poorly the previous night, had an indoor day - rusks and a rhubarb and apple crumble were the result.
In the evening, having had one of the Scotch eggs with coleslaw for my evening meal, I went back into Wexford for band practice. This is the view from the car after I'd reversed into the garage, but before hooking the car up to the charger.
