Dawn Swimmers

7 of us swam this morning, I was the only one who didn't do a lap. You can see a couple of dots in the photo, that's the lappers.  This photo was taken at about 7am. Air was 3c, water was 8c.  Even the hardy hardcore amongst us found it cold.  We all found it magical.  That is definitely a first for me, a dawn swim in February. 
The saun shone for my walks in Monkstown with a lovely coffee with P at the Italian cafe and it was still shining at the Dock beach later on.  Bertie swam, Rua didn't. 
Lunch in Cosy Cafe and home now to a sleeping dog, not a peep out of her in her outside pen, that's the second time in a row she hasn't complained.
