They’re back!

We are lucky that cranes decide to come and live in our area over summer. Who knows where they come from - England, Spain, Eastern Europe ?
They come here to nest because they like the damp peatland apparently.
It’s usually into March before I see them but here they are today.
It really is exciting to see them, knowing that they’ve made that long journey.
