Not good news

I had to go down to Mintlaw this morning to collect the allotment mower to take for servicing.
Since I was in the vicinity, I thought I would see if any squirrels were about and I was lucky to see this wee beauty.
There was a rather worrying report in the news last night and in the papers today to say there is a concern that there may be squirrelpox in the Stirling area. It is passed on by grey squirrels and although they are not affected, it can be deadly to red squirrels. Only two suspected cases so fingers crossed
