Our Day

Hubby and I prepared for our lunch out with my mother. My sister made the arrangements on Monday and Momma was looking forward to it. I called to make sure she was ready for her day out. My sister Barbara said Momma wasn’t feeling good enough to go out today. I contacted my sister and BIL to say there was a change of plans. We decided to visit her anyway and drop off some ‘pick me up’ treats. As you can see, she hasn’t lost her sense of humor. I asked her to hold her cup of tasty coffee our BIL bought her. We visited for a few hours and brought her up to date of any family news. From there, we went to a Mexican restaurant for lunch. Everyone was pleased with their choice. Hubby and I had to go shopping after we got home. I bought the “non red” jello and vegetable broth, my meals for tomorrow. Oh, and popcicles. Yum. Hubby and I took a nap and now we are enjoying the evening. I was writing my blip when I fell asleep. He is going to light our wood fireplace, for only the second time this season.
