Job Done

330pm.  Loco back on shed, fire dropped, steam gently rising still.  A grand day out, albeit we were not busy.  With Tilda as assistant and a young trainee with a lot of promise, I chose to mostly supervise.   Apart from a short, sharp shower at Abergynolwyn it was a lovely, if chilly, sunny day.  Good to be back in the saddle.

After this a mostly lazy day.  I did spend ninety minutes at pottery this evening glazing some vases but with a kiln full of stoneware warming the building this evening, it will be a little while before these are fired.  One is a new option for me, a design Jamie cut from vinyl for me, used as a stencil - extra pic.
