I’ve got my ticket

There’s the Carnaval mood in Funchal. The little street shops are open and brightly coloured. The stands are going up and the walkway for the Children’s Carnival is ready for Friday(rain permitting.)

This poster is for the concert I wanted to buy my ticket for. You’ll remember I found the elusive Gaudeamus shop and successfully obtained it. Last week.

It’s not until Sunday and it’s SOLD OUT. 

The poster gives a mild and gentle flavour of what to expect.
