A view from Jeanneb

Purple patch

Unlike many of the clumps of snowdrops and crocus plants flowering at the moment in the garden I do actually remember planting these. They always appear as if from nowhere!
The deep purple ones are called Remembrance, which is quite appropriate at the current time,  but I believe this is where one of our cats, Mimi, lies.

It was quite a sunny morning but by lunchtime the rain clouds were rolling in. Quite heavy showers too. We managed a walk to the garden centre in a sunny spell to get some seeds. It rained heavily whilst in there so we hung around for a while looking at the animals and then managed to get home again in a relatively dry spell.

Looking around at all these spring blooms I can see how much weeding wants doing. The forecast is good for the next few days so hope to get out to do some. Chris made a start by cutting back the roses yesterday. Lots to do!

Just added an extra of an almost double rainbow out of the front window this afternoon
