Henry would have been 16 years old today.
We've found the easiest way to get through the day is to spend it outside in the fresh air, enjoying time together as a family.
Henry sent us the sunshine and two special visits from a Robin. The first was at the garden centre whilst we were choosing plants for his grave. Then once we had planted them, another Robin showed up. It watched us from the branch of a nearby tree then landed on the ground next to the flowers we had planted. I often see Robins when I think about Henry. I've posted extras of the Robin today.
We had a lovely but muddy walk and a great pub lunch. This evening we baked a birthday cake and watched TV together. Another year survived without him.
