Waiting

A brighter day with almost no rain.

Andy played golf this morning. Meanwhile Merlin and I had a long walk around the local area. It felt quite springlike. Water was still pouring off the fields after the recent rain. A pair of mallard ducks had moved in to a small pond which has appeared in one of the fields.

Later I baked bread and did more sewing of Merlin’s next blanket. I did the mitre corners today and I was pleased with how they turned out - given this was my first attempt at doing them. I’ll blip the blanket once it is finished.
