Purple

This gate is one of a pair, which with another pair, cut off a short section of road.  It's not clear why someone would want to do this but perhaps it would demarcate a land boundary.  It doesn't look as if the gates have been used in a while.  If you look carefully you might see amongst the bramble, a little splash of purple periwinkle flowers.
