Getting the detail!

Today is more by way of experimentation, I have got the use of a 90mm telephoto lens which I am trying out.  Having shot 35mm and 50mm for years I am well used to those focal lengths and what they do best.  So 90mm was a bit of a shock.  I can see how it will be great for portrait shots.

However on my walk today I decided to look for detail as opposed to the wide shot.  The clock in Victoria Square was my first target.  The main photograph is uncropped, but the additional photograph is.  Interesting to see that the clock face shows an image of the village dating from 1930.

Only one thing was wrong, the clock had stopped, it wasn't really that late!
