Almost home - The Centurion

We slept really well and got up in time to see Graham off to work then walked to Turnpike Lane for the tube. At Kings Cross we bought samosas on a stall and a Guardian before our 11.30 train.

Poor planning on our part as we’d left #3 daughter the car (and keys)with a bag of second cousin Rosie’s clothes for Ella not realising till too late they’d not get back from their London trip till 2 hours after us. Hence the blip in the Centurion, the old pub in Newcastle Station - we had a coffee and
waited to meet them off their train. They’d all had a brilliant time. Nathaniel had been to 4 Manga shops, but only got a poster as the books are cheaper on line The best bit of the trip for Ella was the Friends experience (mock ups of Central Perk and their flat - though Nathaniel was disappointed the chair wasn’t as good as Joey’s) and going to Six the musical.

We picked up our car keys and are now on the A1 heading home. It’ll be a chill out tomorrow as we have the boys Thursday till Saturday. We’ve had such a great time, especially considering we are not usually city people.
