Mirror Man

Just back from a very enjoyable mini bliptour - like a blipmeet but with an official tour guide. Many thanks to LooseCanon for organising a visit to Gloucester cathedral, including a crypt tour. Eight of us met up - the usual crew of LooseCanon & Technophobe, steveng & Gill, hildasrose & Rob, along with me and mrsfb. We of course had hot drinks and cake to start, and lunch in the middle.

The tour guide Nigel (upside down at the top in the mirror in the main blip, with me at the bottom) was very knowledgeable and entertaining, which made the visit so much more enjoyable.

It was a lovely spring day too, with some glorious light patterns on the columns from the sunlight though the stained glass windows (first extra).

We were also able to have a look at the Celebrating Gloucestershire Photography Exhibition in the cloisters (second extra, not a great image as I mucked up the settings as I have been playing with the zebra display on the Sony and was paying more attention to the zebra than to the shutter speed, which ended up as 1/13s).

I had one image on display from Cirencester Camera Club. The Evening Of Nostalgia went OK last night, though not many members brought images so I had to show my selection.
