Red Planet

Monday. Heavy rain hammered down, and a misty blue light draped itself over the land. Half-term is over, so the troops are getting ready to return to school this morning, and Dash is joining me again for the drive into Canterbury. My day starts at our Blean office, which is always pretty quiet and out of the way, then back to the city for meetings in the afternoon. By lunchtime, the rain scarpered, to be replaced with sun and blue skies, making for a pleasant drive home.

I found today’s blip in Blean when I noticed the rust-blistered red paint on a postbox, conveniently placed in front of some dark wooden panels for contrast. Taking a close-up of the domed metal, it resembled the cratered surface of a rocky planet… so later on, I added a suitable sky in Luminar Neo to complete the illusion.
