After the Rain

It rained quite heavily early and during the morning.  After coffee we checked on the Grebes - in the rain.  There was movement under each wing of the parent on the nest and I believe I caught glimpses of grey under both wings.  (There were three eggs to start with - don’t know if they all hatch at once).  Unfortunately the nest is attached to the bridge leading out to the marina so the distance from the bridge down to the nest is a bit beyond my current phone’s range.  (I feel an update coming on!).  The clouds broke up in the afternoon so a pleasant walk was had out to Bremner Bay.
