Windy!

We met Acyclinggranny for coffee this morning after which we did the boardwalk routine.  We were very lucky to spot a newly hatched chick on one of the Grebe nests - emerging from a parent’s wing  feathers - a tiny, tiny grey head and neck.  Obviously a difficult manoeuvre as it slipped back under the parent’s feathers!  We will check it out tomorrow.  Walked from Bremner Bay out towards Penrith Park this afternoon. The Northwesterly got up as forecast and dust was blowing about so it wasn’t very pleasant.
