Single daff
Regular readers will probably remember that there were times when the balcony garden was a riot of colour. At Easter 2023 we moved a lot of plants up to Tain, as we had the beginnings of a garden up there, and in addition we anticipated that our balcony might be out of use in the not too distant future, because of the anticipated fire safety works.
It's nearly March 2025, and there is no sign of said works, but we do still have one pot of spring bulbs which has supplied - so far - a single, but quite attractive daffodil. And it's supplied my blip.
Spring bulbs are, of course, in the garden in Tain (including bulbs that were originally on the balcony here), and they are mainly a long way behind, although I saw there were some crocuses out in a pot when we were up there this week.
I survived today, despite feeling under the weather, but I am missing book group tonight, which does not make me pleased. Being sensible does truly suck.
