Red-legged Partridge #30

The rain was persistent for most of the morning so I didn't go out until after lunch and even then, just for a short drive to see if I could find some hares - I failed! 

Instead I found a pair of red-legged partridges scrabbling around on a field. 

Fingers crossed that it's a better day weather wise tomorrow.
