Bus blip

Not done one of these for a while, but today worked from County Hall and am now heading back to my car on the P & R bus. I was good and got the Airport bus which drops at the bus station meaning I had to walk the last bit. It is only 25 minutes but lugging my handbag, laptop bag and lunch bag added to the endeavour. I know I need to make opportunities to walk. It is so easy to walk from one bedroom to the other to work, and not even leave the house for days on end. It was raining this morning and I did have another bus choice, so I’m proud of myself for not taking the easy option. I walked back too, so that’s 50 minutes of walking with heavy bags!

At lunch time I went to eat my lunch in the Mardle with my work colleague Bev. It is the first time in my working life I’ve worked with another Bev! She is good, so I hope she stays!

I guess I’ll be home about 7. It is never a short day working from the city. I left at just before 7. Not something we are used to since everything changed with Covid 5 years ago. How can it already be 5 years?!

I think I will continue editing my book tonight. It’s slow going but I’d like to get it done. I’m about half way through. It isn’t the best it can be, although I am trying. But I’m also impatient. I guess this is why real authors have agents and editors!
