Crown (Part 2)

Three weeks after the marathon preparation session at the dentist (see blip of 3rd February for the gory details), my new crown was ready for fitting today. But no-one wants to see a picture of the inside of my mouth, so this picture of an excellent Eric Gales CD is - as they say - “for illustrative purposes only.”
I probably treated the temporary crown with more caution than I needed, given the effort involved in removing it. The proper one has been glued in place with some very strong glue (so I’m told) and should remain firmly in place. But, just to be on the safe side, I’m leaving it twenty four hours before properly testing that theory!
All done in half an hour and, despite no local anaesthetic, pretty much pain free. Until I came to pay and was relieved of £410. Now that was painful…
