A lie-in then a morning cuppa and catch-up with a former colleague at a local cafe, home for lunch then the weekend laundry. An afternoon of planning for our upcoming trip to Japan in April. I hear tales of it being horribly busy at that time of the year but it's our thirtieth wedding anniversary around then, hence the timing. All of our accommodation is now booked, so we just need to work on our itinerary. Very excited as it's a place I've long wanted to visit. Later, the evening was taken up by a pickleball session at the local sports centre - as one of the newest players I felt I played dreadfully and was probably quite tiresome to be playing with guven how many mistakes I made, so it wasn't a very enjoyable experience. I'll keep trying though!
